Ms. Adrienne Williams, 1st grade teacher at Center City PCS Brightwood, made the Honor Roll for The New Teacher Project’s (TNTP) Fishman Prize!

The Fishman Prize honors amazing teachers across the United States with $25,000 and a unique summer residency, exclusively for teachers in high-need schools.  Candidates for the Prize must demonstrate the following:

  1. An extraordinary ability to lead students from all backgrounds to academic excellence;
  2. A keen understanding of effective instructional practice and an ability to articulate it clearly; and
  3. A passion for teaching and a deep commitment to advancing the teaching profession.

Center City is very proud of Ms. Williams for this great accomplishment and we are delighted to have her as part of the Center City community!
