Center City PCS teaches a broad liberal arts and humanities curriculum and strives to identify each student’s unique academic strengths, challenges, and passions.

We believe small, nurturing schools are safer and more stable, therefore allowing deeper relationships among faculty and families. These relationships create an environment of personal accountability and excellence.

Center City PCS has six campuses in the District of Columbia serving scholars from PreKindergarten to 8th Grade.

Small Nurturing Campus Environment PreKindergarten-8th Grade

• 6 campuses in Washington, DC serving the Brightwood, Capitol Hill, Congress Heights, Shaw, Petworth, and Trinidad neighborhoods
• 200-250 students per campus
• 20-25 students per classroom

Safe and Orderly Schools

• Principals know each scholar and family personally
• Uniforms are required to reduce distractions

Expert and Extra Educators

Each campus has:

• Master Teachers
• 2 instructors per early childhood class pre-k, kindergarten and 1st grade
• 1 counselor and 3 academic specialists, including a reading specialist
• 4-5 enrichment teachers

• School Day is 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
